News btB-Test Project

Kick-off Meeting, 29-30 January 2018, Bucharest (Romania)

The kick-off meeting of the bTB-Test project was organized by USH, and at this meeting participated representatives of each Project Partner.
During the first day, the Scientific Coordinator of the Project did a detailed presentation of the project objectives, tasks, training and networking activities, and secondments program. It was elected the Executive Board, which will be formed by the Scientific Coordinator and representatives of SITEX and IPT. It was also discussed the necessity to include a new Partner in the project for acquiring additional samples and for hosting secondments. In this regard, it was decided to contact Institute Pasteur of Algeria (IPA) for proposing them to join the project.

During the second day, it was realized a field visit to the didactical farm of USH in Negoesti, where the USDA representative made a filed demonstration about breath samples collection procedure.
